Steddy Healthcare was founded from a passion to create a different kind of healthcare experience — one where women are not rushed through appointments, where their concerns are taken seriously, and where education is a key part of every visit.
Throughout more than 25 years as a Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife, Dr. Audrey M. Stedford has witnessed the challenges many women face when trying to access comprehensive, compassionate healthcare. Too often, women leave appointments with unanswered questions, limited time to discuss their concerns, or uncertainty about the next steps in their health journey.
Steddy Healthcare was created to bridge that gap — providing personalized women's healthcare focused on prevention, wellness, gynecologic care, and the management of health conditions that affect women at every stage of life.

Dr. Audrey M. Stedford
DNP, FNP, AGNP, CNM, CDE · Founder & Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Stedford is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife and Certified Diabetes Educator with over 25 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based healthcare to women and families.
As founder and owner of Steddy Healthcare, she provides comprehensive women's health services including preventive care, gynecologic care, wellness management and chronic disease support. She is passionate about empowering women through education, personalized care and a partnership approach focused on lifelong health.
Dr. Stedford earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from New York University and holds advanced certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She is a Fellow of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Her clinical expertise spans women's health, primary care, diabetes management, behavioural health support and complex care coordination.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Stedford is a nursing educator and mentor with extensive experience preparing future nurse practitioners. She previously served as Director of Graduate Nursing Programs and Assistant Professor at Long Island University, and continues to support the education and development of advanced practice nurses.
Recognized for her dedication to patient care, education and healthcare leadership, she is committed to providing women with knowledgeable, compassionate and individualized care throughout every stage of life. That depth of background allows her to tailor care to each patient's unique needs — a passion for women's health matched by an equal commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
